Government Street Bike Lanes

Post  Rowena on Tue Oct 02, 2012 3:28 pm

Also at last night's Council meeting (Oct. 1), Councillor Judy Sentes gave a report on the recent meeting she attended with PIDA (Penticton Industrial Development Association). PIDA has continued concerns over the Government Street Bike Lanes. PIDA would like to be included in future planning of these bike lanes. The City's EDO (Economic Development Officer) will be discussing this with them.

That is at 1:11:05 if you want to hear for yourself.

Case in Point

Post  Admin on Sat Oct 20, 2012 5:42 am

Case in Point of why more riders [[[have]]] to show up at city hall when anything near cycling hits the agenda! We need to get the City of Penticton to send PACA an alert whenever anything about cycling is set to be discussed. That way, PACA can rally riders to show up in council on those days.
